I'd tell you straight to your face. If you're not giving as close to 100% as you can -- REGARDLESS OF THE QUALITY OF PLAY -- you're cheating the very game you claim to love.

How can players, coaches and fans "respect" officials, when they don't get respect (in terms of effort) in return?
