Let's say we give up a pk. Can I switch my gk with a field player to face the Pk? Or, does it have to be the gk that was on the field at the time of the foul that faces the pk?
The goalkeeper may change places with a player on the field whenever the clock is stopped or a substitution takes place, provided the uniforms are legal. Any time the goalkeeper is changed, a referee shall be notified.
So I guess the next question is: is the clock stopped to take a PK? Since you can't substitute over a normal foul scenario (what about if there was an injury at the time of the foul when the PK was awarded?) My general thought is the clock is not stopped for a PK. Is that true?
