I agree that the field at The Cage is small, but "exceptionally small" I contest. It's 56 2/3 yards wide by 116 in length. VERY comparable to many HS fields. The difference is largely optical -- four-lane track as opposed to 8 and the field is stretched to the drains, as opposed to having a field capable of being wider and shrunk to fit a more football (America) sized field. Also, you figure in school buildings and the stadium and it "looks" smaller, but is not much off many of the fields in the Columbia area.

As for Granby, the field is 117x62, and it's maxed out in width.

We would love to rip the track out and stretch the field from fence to fence, but ...
