Without going overboard, or being harsh, make training as tough, focused and competitive as possible. I am a great believer that training should be hard and games "easy." Start small. Aggressively simulate and rep difficult game situations in training, with emphasis on maintaining focus for increasing-duration segments. As part of the program, make a point of positive verbal and playing time reinforcement for those who bring their focus and games up a notch. Conversely, don't go overboard criticizing those who don't. I also suggest film study. Video is a powerful tool. If you can demonstrate through video what YOU see during a match, you won't need to say a whole lot more. In sports, somebody's always watching! What do you want them to see?
or just scream & kick stuff
Not everybody is coach eudy. I'm assuming your being sarcastic, but that's sometimes is the worst thing to do
