Without play-offs like the major American sports, isn't the last day of the English Premier League season rather boring and anticlimactic?

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

The two things that add to the mix are: 1) Relegation; and 2) Champions League. trying to avoid relegation, QPR played its heart out today, and I would argue that Man City's BPL-deciding goal was made just a shade easier by the news that QPR had survived REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME.
Still, a helluva 5-minute stretch, capping a solid 30 minutes of high drama!

After seeing how things turned out, I can't help but disagree. That was an intense finish. Man City scored in the 94th minute to win the cup. Goosebumps...
