By the way , arbitrary rankings aside, St Joes would have walked through this tournament like it was a preseason scrimmage- why do none of the Columbia teams schedule them for their preseason or non-conference games?

Without researching the other teams that have participated in the Palmetto Cup, but Brookland-Cayce hosted in 2001 and 2002 and won the Class 3A Lower State Championship each season. The list would be even longer if you included teams that reached the Semifinals of their respective classification.
