No disrespect to J.L. Mann, OR ANY OTHER TEAM, but ...
Wando's boys will win the state championship if 4 things happen: 1) They remain motivated, focused and humble (the coaches' job); 2) The Clark kid stays healthy (no reason to think he won't); 3) Wando's general and match fitness are better than last year; and 4) The coaching staff actually prepares a real scouting report for whomever the title game opponent may be.
It's not NEARLY as complicated as Wando made it last year, when a little bit of unjustified (but entirely predictable) arrogance crept into ALL levels of the program, coming off a championship run the previous year.
Hard lesson learned by all, I suspect.
