Most of the upside down scores come from schools teams with no club players, or just a few, versus teams with an abundance of club players.

We moved our program from not winning a game, to being competitive with anyone we play for the last two years. We got kids playing year round.

Our girls softball program, has won thru the playoffs 53-3, with a 10 run mercy rule victory over Byrnes for the upper state, with a game in their pocket (double eliminations). Was that luck, no, it was not. There are several very good travel teams based in Boiling Springs. They are blessed with talent. A freshman at USC just go on ESPN top plays, fresh from our field last year. They play for state this week.

Look at the huge losses. Premier players playing teams with no club players. Blame the schools for fielding teams where there are no clubs if you want. The elite game of soccer will only get worse, in the U.S., with this thought process, in my mind.
