2) You are never going to get a system in high school soccer that breaks away from the current "classification" of A, AA, AAA, or AAAA or whatever your state uses. The smaller schools would scream out about having to play a large school. It is based on school size, and the talent from the school population. That is just the high school way. If they changed it for soccer, they would change it for every other sport....and everybody would scream. If you are really worried about quality soccer that usually have better match scores, go play or watch club soccer. High school is the way that it is, and I don't see it changing anytime soon.



the reality is, not everybody can afford club soccer.

maradona, pele, gonzalez, cruyff, messi, ronaldo, none of them ever paid to play soccer.
