I know this is the boys forum but can someone explain to me something.

Looking at the SCHSL Brackets. Am I looking at them wrong????

How can the two be in different parts of the state???

The Boys are in the Upper State.

The Girls are in the Lower State.

How does that work????

It is the region breakdown. 5 teams go, the first 3 go upper and the bottom 2 are lower. Or vice versa. It may have changed since I coached the girls but is something similar.
