The rash of surprises banishes former No. 1 Wando from the Top 25, and leaves the state with only one team in the top half of this week's rankings.

Sorry, no. 2) You bought into J.L. Mann as a defending champion. Nope. 3) You couldn't foresee Dutch Fork/Irmo/Lexington advancing. 4) You couldn't envision a lesser know like NF breaking through.

The fact that they lost 5 region games looks bad until you see they lost by 1 goal each time to the likes of Northwestern, and Fort Mill. Lesser know maybe becaue they are from the oft maligned and over looked region 3.
