Mann is a magnet school so they can bring outside students. This use to be a good recruiting tool that was abused so now the school board decides who is eligible instead of faculty. I would rather be a non-magnet. Non magnets are allowed certain amount of students outside the zone. There are handful of neighborhoods in the Greenville area that are soccer heavy. 5 years ago they rezoned the area and Mann ended up with those neighborhoods. These areas were zoned for riverside and Mauldin. Sucks for them. Christ Church and St Joes take the other great soccer players. But soccer doesn't seem to be determined by size of school. Wando was just better this year (and previous years.) If you want to be the man ;you've got to beat the man.
