Wow Wando struggled all the way to a 20-1-1 record?? And only allowed 6 goals ALL season???

Not sure how the term struggle fits into beating every team you faced but one and allowing 6 total goals. Seriously.... you had 17 shut outs... you struggled?? Cry me a freaking river... (FYI only 6 out teams in the state had 17 wins let alone 17 shut outs)

And a difficult run through the playoffs??? Seriously?? This is a parody post right??? JL Mann had a difficult run winning 3 of its games by 1 goal and only out scoring its playoff opponents 8-3 vs Wando's 16-0 (not counting state championship) Struggling is JL Mann taking 76 minutes to score the winning goal against Ft Mill.

And you had 3 players out for the playoffs and 6 out for the finals including 2 starters??

You realize that if most teams had 2 starters out they'd be done?? Because most teams don't come from a school 3300 with students to pick from. Instead schools like JL Mann have HALF as many students.

The biggest weakness on the girls side is depth, you see it on every team. How many times have you seen a game be 1-0 at half time and then 6-0 by the end of the game as the weaker team wears out and doesn't have anyone on the bench to replace the starters??

How many quality subs does a team like JL Mann or Riverside have?? I know Fort Mill had about 5 decent subs and if your 16th best field players is on the field against a good team you are in trouble. (Honestly if you have more than 2 subs on the field at one time you are trouble on most teams.)

Simple question: How many girls tried out for soccer at Wando this year?? How many were turned away from playing on either Varsity or JV??

I know at Fort Mill that we had 4 EIGHT graders on our JV teams because we didn't have enough high schoolers to fill the team. And everyone who tires out makes the team.

Finally, no one has ever said anything bad about the girls. No doubt they practice and work just as hard as the girls at any other top school. But for a parent to pretend being DOUBLE the size of the schools they are competing against has nothing to do with them winning year after year is ignorance.

BTW private schools like AM and St Joe's are a totally different ball game than the public school and their success despite small sizes is a very different thing than the biggest school in the state winning year after year. Cut your team in half and how many state championships would you be winning?
