Wando managed to hang on, score goals and keep The ball out of the opponents net. Not just one special Player put them over the hump.
The first Academic Magnet match went to PKs. As to tryouts, their are 8th graders on JV just like most schools.
Please quit seeking excuses for losses and recognize that this year in particular there were 4 or 5 teams with legitimate claims as favorite to Win. Wando just happened to come out on top. It was Hanna's time last year and Mauldin in 2010.
