Great win for FM today well played by both teams. FM took the lessons of last night and turned them to their advantage today. FM D was much more focused and controlled the ball better out of the back. Not to be lost in the shuffle is the fact is that this same South Meck team beat Charlotte Catholic last night (maybe why CC felt the need to hang 9 on Spartanburg today, never fun to play a powerhouse after a loss!)
Saw most of both Rock Hill games and while they lost they played well in both. Seems like Rock Hill has come a long way in just a season or two.

We play them all the time only it is ECNL not High School. Take a look at the standings and see where your NC teams are in Multi state competition.

OK per your request:
2013-14 Southeast Div. U18 #1 Concord Fire #2 Charlotte SA #3 CESA (lost to both above when they played)
U17 #3 CSA #4 CF #8(last) CESA
U16 #1 CF #2 CESA #5 CSA (lost to CESA 2:1 and beat them 2:0)
U15 #1 CF #2 CSA # 3 CESA
Not sure what your wanting me to see, I see J.L.Mann is stacked with ECNL underclass players and a couple 11,12th graders, but the CESA teams also have players from some of these NC high schools. Lake Norman would be in the Concord area so I would guess some of them are on the Concord ECNL and some are on the CSA teams. Not sure what your "shocked" about. I do know that last year the Wando team that beat JL Mann in the finals Tied Charlotte Catholic, who lost to South Meck HS. (both of whom were in the FM Invitational this year)
I guess your shock is that the NC team are consistently better? (based on the posted results)

You tend to forget that when CSA has tryouts that they have several hundred kids trying out for 20 spots. NC has a very dense population so they should be so much better. Cesa will end up with 48 girls trying out for 3 teams. My point was you talk about Fort Mill all the time, but I never see their name on a trophy except their own tournament.
Concord doesn't have an ECNL. Lake Norman is a very good premier team. You seem to get all fired up over high school ball when here some of the best girls don't even play. They chose to practice instead. As far as NC vs SC teams sounds like the only club you know is CSA. Does your daughter play CSA ECNL? Don't forget the other teams in ECNL? CASL, NC fusion and 1 more. Sorry but it eludes me at the moment. As far as Wando is concerned, They have 5000 students and a great club coach. They should and have dominated. JL Mann came out of nowhere to enter the race. There is only 20,000 kids playing in SC and 100,000 in NC. NC should dominate at every level. They have so many to chose from they can stack each ECNL team. You sound to me like you are always trying to explain why you SHOULD be the best.

Sounds to me like you are making excuses...
But nice to see you admit that the NC schools are good.
As for Mann, what trophy's do you have your name on? The Viking Cup that you were awarded because you scored the most goals?

This is what you asked me to do and I did, yes Concorde is an Atlanta team (oops) so I guess that the Lake Norman girls who play ECNL would be on CSA (maybe CASL, or other NC ECNL) but the point stands that the CSA team sits above CESA in 3 of 4 age groups and got the better of CESA (point wise in play 2-1, 0-2 would give CSA more points). Like I said, I did not know what your point was, as for "getting all fired up over high soccer), you do realize this is the "GIRLS VARSITY" thread? Which mean people on here are talking about said Varsity which means HS not club, there is a seperate thread for that. So, if you are mad I talk about girls Varisty here I am not sure that we could come to any agreement.
"My point was you talk about Fort Mill all the time, but I never see their name on a trophy except their own tournament."
As for what you say your point was I am not sure how you got that out of the quote above, but ok. Sure I pull for FM and talk about when they do good, and to be fair, bad. What is saying good things about "your" team not allowed here? I do not trash talk your team, yes they have won thier tournament usually they play the toughest teams in the tournament (including the one time they won it by beating Hilton Head). The HS tournament that counts comes at the end of the year not before or during, all the players will trade every pre/during season trophy for the one at the end. So, while you may dis it winn the FM Inv. ussually requires beating some very good NC teams. The Wando comment was only put in there for prespectrive you seemed to be dissing NC teams so I pointed out that the NC teams are easily a match for most SC teams.
Mann coming out of no where? Well they are a good school (magnet infact, right) in a great soccer area they were due a turn at the top right?
"You sound to me like you are always trying to explain why you SHOULD be the best"
Your last statement seems odd as I never have said they are or should be the best, maybe if they win it all some day they will be the best on that day. I promote them for the success and becasue I am proud of thier play and effort. If it bothers you that I pull for them, well ignore me then. This is a public, no fee board for opinions post yours and I'll post mine. I try to avoid the hater comments when possible but they are out there, you know a pot stirrer is always out there some where ready to call people names and act childish but I try and look by them when possible. The reason mot people post on here is to talk up the teams and players they pull for, but there will always be those who want to trash someone else I prefer to be the former not the latter, you pick your spot.
