My suggestion was to try and help the teams that aren't represented well get at least a player. It's not easy for the coaches in the Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head areas to get the meeting to speak up for their kids. It shouldn't be the loudest voice in the room that is heard.
I understand that the all state team should be the best of the best but that is tough to measure because unlike individual sports, the best players don't make it to the end.
Schools/players shouldn't be punished because they can't attend the Viking Cup or Brookland-Cayce's tournament to get exposure.
I'm not saying my suggestion is the best way, or even a good way, I was just throwing it out there. If you don't agree with the system in place or don't agree with the suggestions being made, don't just criticize them, make your own suggestions. That is what a forum is meant to be used for. Not just trash talking behind an anonymous screen name (not saying that is happening in the thread).
