Eurosport scoreboard is formatted to call it a tie if you put regulation as a tie and put the pk score in. Is there any way to change that? We beat Wade Hampton for our tournament championship 4-3 based on ot and penalty kicks...so should we post it as 4-3 and make a note?
A common question with tournaments is "who wins"?
Simply put, if a match ends in a tie (i.e., 0-0) and overtime is played, then penalty kicks decide the "winner".
However, if a contest ends in a draw and <b>no overtime is played</b>, then the penalty kicks are used only to determine who advances in a bracket format so that match would be recorded as a tie.
