Excellent post Coach Stafford and kudos to you for having the courage to post this position in a forum. I agree with much of what you've stated in regards to this particular issue.
I also agree that some type of minimum requirement should be given towards postseason participation. I like your region requirement, but believe a minimum of 50% should be mandated.
This is something that the SCHSSCA should take seriously and make appropriate proposals to the SCHSL via our Principals and Athletic Directors.
