I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who was involved in North South for allowing me to be a small part of this fantastic event! I remember being a player and wanting to play in this event.... turns out I was the GKer alternate in 1996. Coaching in this game has extra special meaning to me!

Having grown up in South Carolina high school soccer, I cannot tell you how much coaching in that game meant to me! Thanks to Kevin, Kyle and Katie... as well as Dickie and Troy for setting up a lot of the major stuff.... thanks to Stephen Jackson and yes even Sean Vick for driving the bus... thanks to Twig and FCA for a great speaker... thanks to the Hampton Inn on Daniel Island for a great hotel... thanks to Jimmy Johns for providing the player snacks.... thanks to Bishop England for providing the training rounds and thanks to C of C for providing a first rate facility. Thanks to Nate Harris for tolerating me being a little extra intense!

Thanks to my assistant CJ Macauley for coming out to watch and congratulations to Zach Reineke from AMHS for scoring the goal for the South team!

A special thanks to my parents and sister for coming down to watch and supporting my coaching career!

And just to separate them.... a special thanks to all the players! that was a couple of long and very HOT days! I know our group of south boys had tremendously positive work ethic and attitude! In addition, I did not hear of one issue in the hotel! Kudos to all the players!
