The PG-HHCA game was a good matchup. It was a very physical game and very tightly called and HHCA looked good early on and attacked alot from the right side. PG is still missing a starting center mid due to an injury but played solid and fed off several counterattacks. Neither team had very many explicit chances although HHCA had numerous outside shots. During the first OT, PG received a free kick outside the right side of HHCA's 18 yd. box and crossed it in and scored off a header. Things will be interesting in the lower state. PG has a very young team. HHCA plays well together.

thanks MP i was just wondering cuz i had heard a lot of positive things about HHC and not too many about PG (nothing against PG), so the news came as a surprise to me. but thanks, and eagle forward needs to check his attitude, tho i must agree we have not one yet, but we've only played one game and we lost 2-0 to let me remind you, the defending state champs, pinewood. and it was close all the way up til the whistle blew. so things dont look too bad for our very young squad, but thanks for asking.

MP is pinewood weaker, as strong, or even stronger than last years team becuz i know they lost a lot from graduation but they always find ways to get very good iternational players. They have played alot of very good public schools in tournaments so there record doesnt really tell how good they are.

I haven't played Pinewood yet because when PG played them I was out of town. They did beat us but we were without many of our starters due to basketball and it was also our fall break. They return a good defender from last year as well as an outside midfielder (I think) from last year and a good keeper as well. One midfielder returns also who was a force I hear during the state championship last year (Boris). They should be good but from what I've heard not quite as strong as last year. I'm not sure if they have any new players or not, though. As always, there will be good competition between PG, PW, and HHCA. Not to take anything away from Beaufort, though, I just haven't heard anything about them except that they lost their coach. Look forward to playing all of you guys & good luck.

nope, you have every right to ask if we have won any games yet, you also have every right to underestimate us, i guess i would even do it too, ill be the first to say we dont have a very powerful squad, but we'll work with what we have this season. we have a very young team and some inexperienced players and no bench, but i guess we'll just wait and see how the season plays out. we'll see HHC for the first time this thursday and i think we'll be seein PG in the coming week or so. as far as pinewood, they did return with practically a whole new line up, but they worked well as a team and were very well coached. they had a very good sweeper and keeper. they also had a very energetic striker and a very passive midfield.

What is a "passive" midfield?

Dont worry we dont under estimate any team. anyone can beat anyone. its all fair game. no team should ever overlook another team becuase they could end up getting there butts kicked. HHC and BA is a rivalry, so it should be a good matchup.so good luck to your team Sweeper.

sorry bout that, didnt mean to offend you, by passive i meant they passed more than they would dribble. they were a pretty strong midfield in my opinion.

eagle forward - i dont know anything about BA vs HHC as a rivaly, this is only my second year at the school, but last year's games seemed pretty high contested games. and i cant wait for this year...oh, but i think we wont be playin HHC this thursday, the game had to be moved because of the retards running my school had a scheduling problem, but hope to see yall soon

No offense taken, just didn't understand the term. Typically, they move the ball pretty well in the mid field, as they did that night, and I was just wondering if that was what you meant. I was thinking it could be that, but just wanted to be sure.
