2 years ago in the state championship game, Northwestern did "pack it in" vs Irmo. A great game plan that took a very strong Irmo team to pk's.
Last year anyone who saw the game would not be able to say that Northwestern "packed it in". The shot total for the game was 22 Irmo - 21 Northwestern. The game was very even that led to 2-1 2OT game.
This year, I haven't seen much "packing it in" vs any opponent strong or weak. What I have witnessed is a team with a very good game plan vs each opponent with pretty good execution. So to me it doesn't matter "pack it in" or "run it up", I say "Just Win."
