Have any 3A teams done well in any tournaments or won any? That could compare 4A and 3A

You can't judge a game by its score. Look at Northwestern and Fort Mill. Did it not go into PK's? It doesn't matter how badly you win, but what matters is if you do win. Eastsides only two losses have come when 5 starters were in Florida for club. Northwestern, Irmo, Wando are all great teams, but a 3A side such as Eastside, Greenville, Mann, could definately beat them on any given day.

I guess it would help if Riverside and Eastside had a better schedule (so there would be more to compare)..but..I think that was kind of my point.

i agree with L-E Dude on the fact that Seneca and Daniel have nothing to back their record on. it will be interesting to see how they turn out against Eastside.

People (including myself) will always be fussing about the rankings. They really don't mean much since they don't decide playoffs. There are teams with weak schedules that are ranked high and vice versa. It's just how it is. Arguing about it is about as worthwhile as guessing the flavor of slushie that LE got.
LE, as for Eastside, no they are not invincible, but then again I haven't seen anyone in the state that is. That includes Northwestern. No, I haven't seen every team, but I have seen many of the good ones and no one is unstoppable. My point on this thread is that they are a 3A team and they have a really good shot at beating anyone in the state. It doesn't mean they will. That would apply for several more good 3A schools.
And since it seems that everyone is picking someone to agree with on this thread, I agree with Steve Perry. He hit the nail on the head.

I agree with him too..as far as not being able to judge a team just by the results. Of course there are other factors to consider..
I'm just think it's interesting that there is so much talk about Northwestern and their strength of schedule ..and how that will impact their playoff run.. but it's all thumbs up for Eastside.

I agree with a previous post, being AAAA does not "make you good". Obvious as it may be, I think some of the sensitive AAA supporters can relax because the level of difference from top to bottom in comparison is quickly dissolving.

Somehow, strength of schedule needs to be factored into the rankings. For example, JL Mann's schedule thus far this season is a joke. They've played one ranked team!

Bruin, Can strength of schedule really be considered when there are those especially weak conferences(year in and year out)?
