You're only going to get labeled as pedantic if you go about trying to tell folks how not to spell. I've tried it and it isn't pretty.

ps: "Yah" is pretty ugly. "Ya'll" you can almost write off as knowing the contraction is made of two separate words, though not quite knowing where the words start and stop. "Abnoxious" suggests a congential abnormality of the muscles of the abdomen and not having been there I just don't know. The most interesting part of GS3's post is the part about the girl on the team and I am not going to touch that, other than to say that girls playing on boys' teams generally are to be held in high esteem.

They should put a Boys, a Girls, and then a seperate board for all these poor excuses for soccer teams to coagulate on. The crap we have to tread through to get real soccer info is unreal. No wonder the rest of the nation laughs at South Carolina when it comes to soccer. And, after reading this mess, no wonder we are last in the nation in education! Gilbertsoccer3, you need to quit NOW, one, your game will get no better and two, you obviously need to spend more time on your education!(Please excuse me if you are in the Special Ed. class, if you are, congrats on making the team!)

Gilbertsoccer3: Sorry that you think WH easily took that championship, but if you knew your facts, you would know that it wasn't until the last 4:30 left in the game that they scored the only goal scored in the game. An easily won game would have allowed several more goals throughout the entire game. I'd say that was a very hard fought for goal.

Well, Wilson Coach, as much as you would love to get back at me for bringing out your team the other day, this kind of comical comeback is so weak even Wilson could defend against it. The horrible spelling, the mix of past/present tenses, the ebonics, those are the things I was referencing to.

This is probably one of the reasons you got in trouble at Wilson in the first place. Some of the kids on this board are just doing this to get you responding (which seems to be pretty easy). Just let them talk, who cares what they say. If it bugs you that much, then quit coming on this board and go to the coaches board in which you once were.

Actually Striker, I never got in trouble at Wilson at you put it. I stepped down because I adopted twin daughters, if it's any of your business. and as for you comment about the kids, well AH isn't one. And to be honest it wasn't what he had said about our team that warrented the response, but the jab at SC education and his obvious lack of one.
