Ban spanish on the feild? Are you all crazy? Do you honestly think all the International teams speak English? If all of them can learn how to deal with it I think you can deal with it.

So if you use sign language on the field and you wanted to tell the ref that there was a handball....would you walk over to the ball and pick it up and point to the other team??

you guys are totally missing the point of this post. All im saying is that WITHIN a certain team, there should only be one spoken language, so that communication and team cooperation are easily done. The only reason I brought up spanish is because it is a common language spoken in the US besides english.

Geez tough crowd!

I will be really good when hispanics leave american soccer. Then all those sisi's an momys boys will play soccer by themselves only their moms and dads watching them. It will be a lot better because MLS won't pack stadiums like Chivas USA, or LA Galaxi. It will be a lot better because USA will go back to play their "exciting" sports.

Anybody can be mean a racist, if you don't want comments like that one... please respect others!

For the one hundredth and last time.
I have nothing against hispanics, they have an incredible and exciting style of play. The point of this post is not to put down hispanics, the spanish language, or mexican soccer. All i'm saying is that ON A CERTAIN TEAM, only one language should be spoken so that players can communicate well with each other and the refs and coaches can easily do their jobs.

I'm weary of arguing with you people who either don't read my posts thouroughly, or just missunderstand what i'm trying to say.

Please, no offense towards any group of people, or any language is meant by this post.

Fenomeno and the rest of you lot,
Read my posts carefully before replying, please.

Chivas is "packing stadiums" ( a packed stadium at an MLS game?!) with fans who are blindly supporting their culture, certainly not due to the quality of their play. It will be interesting to see if Hispanic jingoists will continue to ride that bandwagon if the wheels that were never fully on, continue to come off.
