***Farragut-TN, Kelly Walsh-WY, and South Anchorage-AK joined the ranks of five other out of state participants in this event as Atlee-VA ('02-'03), Kempsville-VA ('00), Norman North-OK ('00-'02-'04-'05), Ocean Lakes-VA ('05), and Science Hill-TN ('99) have all played in the Palmetto Cup since 1999 and 2001 is the only year in which no teams from outside the borders of the Palmetto State participated
***Farragut finished as Runners-Up, the highest finish of a non-South Carolina team other than Norman North, which has won the Palmetto Cup three times ('00, '04, '05)
***First time participants (Airport, Farragut, Kelly Walsh, and South Anchorage) in the Palmetto Cup combined for an overall record of 5-11-1 (.324) and only the Admirals from Knoxville, TN finished in the Top 10
