yes that is true, but i mean i heard that edisto got some red cards in that game, i mean yes it was a thrashing but were edisto playing like crap ? idk, edisto is really good maybe they just had a bad day, all teams do have bad games like we did against some teams we should have thrashed, but yes that will be something to look forward too. ps - a good keeper is a good start, everything in my opinion starts from the goalie

Star11 u are right abt Wade Hampton and Barnwell, and aleksandrus11, u may of "thrashed" Edisto 2-0, but u didnt mention whenn they slaughterd (if that is haw it is spelled) ur team 13-1. Now they really "thrashed" yall.

they beat us that bad at the beginning of the season. If you ask anyone who played us at the beginning, and then at the end, we were a totally different team.

player4theteam - i understand where you are coming from about the thrashing. But usually at the start of the season teams aren't at the top of their game. BUT no matter how bad you are at the start of the season, a loss that bad is not one that happened because a team is out of form. It's lack of skill that causes a team to lose that bad. Don't get me wrong aleksandrus11, your team may have skill, but obvioulsy the opposition had much BETTER skill.

aleksandrus - i answered your question to player4theteam. But i also have to say this. Edisto is a decent team, everything depends on the situation of when you play the game. Edisto (please correct me if i'm wrong) were a man or men down in the game. That causes big factors. I recall at a Wade Hampton vs Bluffton soccer game - Wade Hampton up 3-1, following a red card, Bluffton scored 2 goals in 10 minutes. In extra time, a Wade Hampton defender passes out from dehydration and so a second string defender is brought on, following that Bluffton puts in two more goals.

So please explain the situation of the game. Or if there wasn't one say so. And also judge how they played and don't be bias to your team.

sorry, i would have to disagree with you star11. we only had one goalie on the roster and at that game he was injured. our replacement was the teams manager who just gets to dress out because i coach i that nice. BC also beat just as bad but the same situation continued throughout our season, until our goalie was able to come back. it was not a lack of skill that i team had, but a lack of a mediocre goalie.

and about the red cards. they were given after the two goals were already scored. these cards had no affect on the two goals that already happened. we just happened to have our full roster and nobody on the injury list. we were playing our best and we won. so in swansea's case i would have to say that we should be a contender to be on the states top ten list, more of a sleeper unit.

SwanseaWinger07 - I see what you are saying and now i understand, but also you have to understand this, just by fairly winning one game against Edisto will not automatically get you into the top 10. In fact i must say that there are many other teams that may or should be listed in the top 10 but aren't considered. I left out Andrew Jackson as a possible Top 10 because i'm not too sure about their current team roster but they are not a team to be forgotten. Here are some of the contenders of Top 10 spots

Gilbert - definitely a contender here, losing to Batesburg-Leesville 3-2 and Walhalla 4-0 shows their ability to keep up with ranked teams.

Saluda - not the best of contenders in my opinion but still deserving of a possibilty to be in the Top 10 barely losing to Emerald with also other few close games with top teams

Silver Bluff - another contender which to a degree deserve a spot.

1. Towards the start of the season they mainly were dependent on thier main player (name is not known to me) but i know for a fact this player had phenomenal skill and was an excellent player.
2. Toward the end of the season, there top player started to draw other players into the game and increasing the abilities by sharing his skill with the players.
3. Currently unranked, they were ranked during the season following close loses to ranked teams which will always push you down.

Those are my prospected teams that possibly have a chance of filling in a slot in the Top 10

Swanseawinger07, just becuase you won a good game or 2 doesnt make you a top ten contender, you have to be consistant and win things like region which you have yet to do. may i remind you that you lost to gilbert 8-1 and we wernt even in the top 10

star11- With being a top ten condender like you said is kinda iffy. I think this will be our best year for a while because we have a lot of seniors this year but if we cant come out strong and build our consistency then we wont be able to compete in the top 10 but if things come together than we just may. also in our game against Walhalla we had like 3 red cards so that kinda hurt the score a little bit.

I also remember from about 2 years ago if i recall, you played Wade Hampton, and they managed to barely pull off that win. 3-1, someone said you scored first and most of their goals were from corners.etc but not shots. Well it's something to build on.

All i have to say to all teams that just because you get ahead by just one goal. For example, the team that i currently play for, we usually go down a goal first, but to me this is just motivation to play the game harder, and i have to say from all the games i've played with my team, almost 30-50% of the games have resulted from teams being overconfident by scoring one goal on us. Almost every time we've averaged to score an additional 2-3 goals against teams that score against us first. Once that ball hits the net, remember it's not over. Oh yeah and the more you celebrate after one goal, makes the other team just play that lil bit harder lol !!!!!!

Soccer Season seems so far away !!!!!!

Oh yeah can anyone here do around the world ? I managed to do it 2 times yesterday in about 20 or so tries of getting the ball on a foot stall, not while juggling (i can only juggle like max 40-50) lmk i'm just curious of the ball skills that teams contain.
