Swansea Winger - This might be harsh, but last year your record was pathetic to even consider being ranked in the Top 10.

3-13, You had one measely win against an A team that had 0 wins, you may have beat Edisto but according to your WHOLE season, i doubt the conditions of the game were favorable to Edisto. Also has Gilber stated already that Columbia is an extremely preposterous team.
Losses to A teams that aren't even ranked or don't have significant victory is considered a MAJOR problem when ranking is viewed.

aleksandrus11 - Once again i will say, you are not a bad team, but you're also not good enough to be considered to be in the Top 10 rankings !!!!! Yes, everything will be settled on the soccer field this year, everyone can gain skill, again i will try to emphasize, you may not have been good enough last year, but who is to say what may come of you this season lol !!!

SwanseaWinger07 - Please no smack talk, that just leads to pointless posts, also the field is where everything is settled, nothing is done through words.

Edisto_Goalie_4 - First I have to personally commend you on the excellent team you had last year. Good passing and teamwork is important in every team and you definitely had it. However the main lag points are these.

On defense you good size and agility, good heading etc. However they lacked speed, and that is where you were beaten. Fantastic midfield and striking however the finishing was also what caused you to lose games.

What you stated was perfect about the returning and the form of the team because it is also what i expected. I think this year you are well deserving of a 1-3 placing in region. Wade Hampton(H) and Silver Bluff (which i don't know too much about at the current moment) will be the major contenders. The Barnwell JV didn't look Great last year but they were pretty good. The major factor that will keep Barnwell in the running will be their every-game-improving Goalkeeper. Every year he shows better skill, agility, and reflexes. He is what will keep Barnwell alive this year but he will be hopeless if the team is unable to perform up to expectations of last year's squad.

The Swansea team... i would hjave to say i have been getting on this everyday 4 the past week and im tired of looking at yalls smart a** comments i would have to agree with Gilbert, Star 11, Haji i know that is u, and edisto totally agree with u 2 they just need 2 let it go. The game is over and i dont care how bad they beat yall i know that yall are a better team.

Is there anyway you can block someone from a post? For the sake of swansea high school, to keep certian people from embarrasing them any more

If you are a AA school not named Bishop England or Emerald, please refrain from making any more posts. You are just making your situation a whole lot worse!

This topic should no more be an arguement on the skill of Swansea, than it should be on bishop england's playing public schools.

Look, I am no more obsessed with the edisto game than anyone else. I just think that we deserve a little bit of confidence. We overcame alot, and almost didn't even have a team.

I have won and lost many many games, and this one was no more important.

this whole thread started off with an opinionated poll. i just happened to state mine and someone pulls up how we only win 5 games. I take pride in playing for swansea, and any member of a club would have taken up for his teams as quickly as i have. my opinion wasnt meant to start an argument just put a point in your head that you should keep an eye out for swansea this year. -IM SORRY-

player4theteam - which team do u play for man, i can't remember, i saw it once !!! And yes i agree with you, last season doesn't mean crap anymore, it's in the past, so this post was meant to talk about future possibilities of challenges etc.

Always Right - Bishop England or Emerald ? What are you stupid, that just shows whatever team u play for obviously has no self-confidence. You just made urself and ur team look stupid with that post (unless ofcourse u r from Emerald or BE).

aleksandrus11 - BE pays money to the state as i earlier said which permits them to play so they are following the rules even though its wrong and the "recruiting" rumors are true or false.

SwanseaWinger07 - apology accepted, now let's focus on the future, no mentionings of last year unless its a reference not a topic. Keep an eye out for Swansea, i'll remember that even though our 2 teams don't play.

OK I guess I have to clear something up for you folks who think you got the scoop on BE. I graduated last year and I can tell you 100% that BE does ZERO recruiting, and I can back it up by saying that BEHS receives money from the state for school funding; a stipulation for receiving this money is that the school absolutely can not recruit for sports or academics. This means that you all can stop complaining that we recruit, because it's simply not true. Just a heads up.
