I agree, this post is so ADD, its gone from swansea kids embarrasing themselves to BE and recruiting.

let's go to upper state, who is the competition there and please let it be informational since i don't know much about the upper state teams

you've always got to expect big things out of people like walhalla and emerald, and I think in the next year or two, newberry is going to be a contender, we played them, and they have alot of potential, so dont be suprised if they make some upsets this season

the definite top contenders are emerald but other teams are showing expectations, i mentioned many times batesburg, but other than them teams have some catchin up to do, if u play a super team like emerald, u have to bring ur A game. it's hard for teams do that consecutively

I dont know how many seniors emerald lost or what, i think they lost a few good ones, but unless they were young last year and are supposed to improve i would not be surprised if they are beaten before state...they looked to have a few holes in the team at state this past year. i would say AA upstate will be a toss up bt 2-3 teams, prob. ehs, walhalla, and whoever the late season surge is. good luck

It's rather disheartening to hear all the bickering going on and the season is still four months away.

Maybe we're not being included for a reason (we've got a new head coach and I'm the new assistant coach) but in the last four years Pendleton has finished 5th, 5th, 3rd, and 8th in the state. We have many challenges facing us this year including replacing a core group of 4 seniors who were 4 year starters, but I believe that Pendleton is at least worthy of mention in this conversation.
