I do not think PK's should ever be used to determine winners in regular season matches, but obviously they must be the final outcome for playoff matches.
I would like to see overtime periods extended to two 10 or 15 minute periods that are all golden goal If the match is tied still then regular season matches would end in ties and playoff matches would then go to PK's. I feel this would result in many more game decisions that were determined through team play and less on PK's.
I think time wise it would be shorter in many cases than the time it takes to administrate and run a PK shootout.
I am very much in favor of 35 minute jv halves.
