"Chuck"
If Lander University had a contract with Hyundai for university employees to use their cars exclusively, you would drive their cars whether you liked them or not or risk violating the contract, and perhaps, losing your job. You would do this without public dissent until the contract was over. Then, you would go through proper channels to urge your employer to consider another car manufacturer. The university would only consider this if another sponsor came along with a better offer, as the good of the overall university, not merely your own, is what the university must consider. You would act in a professional manner because that is what Lander expects of you. You would not refer to their cars as "sucky" in public, especially if you had never driven one. Perhaps you would even try one to see if it was any good. Then, you might call it "sucky", in private, and have a legitimate reason. But, you would not say so publicly, because that would be unprofessional. And, of course, you are a professional, aren't you?
