The Ben Lippen and Hillcrest scores are a bit surprising.
We have not heard much this season about SA. Anyone have any details of how they are? I cannot imagine that they are as good as last year with the loss of Goose and Jamal (for now).

I want to congratulate Hartsville on a great game tonight. I wish I had a video of it. Hartsville snuck one in at the end of the first half and it was let's play soccer from then on out. Many opportunities that just didn't click by a fraction. Two very even teams that gave it their all. The Hartsville fans were fun ....."White!!!!" Heck, we even had fans at an away game...... "Go Eagles!" Okay, Hartsville is barely considered away - but it was played on their field. The refereeing (that might not be spelled right) was exceptional.
All in all, it was what high school soccer should be all about. Thanks Hartsville.

Not a good performace defensively or in the final third by Dreher and excellent finishing by Hillcrest. Good luck to the Rams for the remainder of the year.
So Dreher outshoots Hillcrest more than 2-1, only scores one goal, saves only 3 shots and then gives up 4?
Sounds like poor finishing and even poorer defense. What happened?

Thanks for the score of Wando/Beaufort. Would like a match report if possible. West Ashley at HHI was a very hard fought, physical, but clean game between two evenly matched teams. I don't know how HHI managed a clean sheet with the cobbled together team on the field most of the game due to injury and yellow/red cards. Congrats to coach Kerr and the team and to WA for a great contest.

The keep's name is Josh not John, its a common mistake.

Dreher just didn't come to play...scoring 23 goals in the past 2 games...and hillcrest's record got to their heads....but as the stats show dreher dominated the game basically...hillcrest got two goals on break-aways and two off dreher not marking on the backside....offesively, dreher didn't have any fight to score...they had probably 5 balls go right across the goal line with no one there to put them in

South Aiken is an excellent side. The loss of Goose and Geathers (as far as I know permanently) is huge, however, I think they are better off not having him come later because they know this is what they have, and they will do their best to play to the best of their abilities and not use the excuse that he's not back yet. As for the game. South Aiken had trouble finishing and it didn't help them that Settle had an excellent game in the net. Ben Lippen may have had the edge in possession and received excellent play from their entire midfield. Branson Hyatt at South Aiken is a quality player and was most of their control from the midfield. The PK was legit and I was thoroughly impressed with the composure of the South Aiken players, despite how hard it is to give up a PK so late in the game.

Wando 4/Beaufort 0
Wando scored 2 minutes in and then were able to dictate the game. Goal was absolutely smashing, nothing keeper could do. Second goal was off BFT error with 8 minutes left in first half. 2-0 at the half. Second half was a little better by Beaufort. Wando scored on a corner 10 minutes into the second. Sloppy marking lead to an easy header. Final score came off messy play in the back and Wando capitalized.
Wando moved the ball East/West very effectively and were certainly the better team on this night.
