That is the list valid for 2005-06 via SCACA. If a coach is not listed there, then it is his/her responsibility to join the SCACA and SCHSSCA.

All that is probably true and those are nice accomplishments, but in high school Erika Bishop was nominated as a midfielder on the Nomination Form by her head coach at Emerald -- not as a goalkeeper.

Yes, Eugene E. Stone, III, passed away in 1997, but he was a University of South Carolina graduate and Chairman of Stone Manufacturing Company, which was the parent company of UMBRO International. He donated a $1 million gift to USC for its facility, which debuted in 1996. Furman University's facility opened in 1995.
Also, in 1981, Stone provided the grading work for Furman's Paladin Stadium football field, which is named in his honor. In 1983, he initiated significant annual scholarship support for Furman's men's soccer program, and in 1985 he provided additional seating for the football stadium, increasing its capacity to 16,000.

Erika Bishop has never played goalkeeper and is not Keeperdad's daughter. I am in agreement with keeperdad that she should have been nominated.....any reason with that list of accomplishments she was left off?

Again, she was nominated as a midfielder, but I was not present at the South Girls meeting. And once again, club exploits really do not matter concerning the high school selections. Perhaps club soccer should have an all-star event?
