I don't think that Irmo will be 16-4...I think 14-6 will be their final record...I predict that they will go 8-2 in their region...losing to SV...Greenbrier will be the other team to beat them...
Im suprised that irmo hasnt done as well as they have in years past. With quality forwards (prince and acree), and a solid midfield (monroe). I guess the only obvious thing holding them down is their backfield. Their defense isn't the best and their keeper doesnt have the experience to play at this level. I say irmo makes a run for the region finishing second or third, behind DF and/or SV.
Id have to disagree with the coach making all the difference. I mean look at ben lippen a couple years ago. They won a state championship with a rec type coach because they were loaded with talent. And if they win again this year, it will be again due to their talent. I mean they freakin kept pace with irmo, and beat SA. This must be one of the most talented teams they've had in a while. And i know there coach and he should be coaching at OW or Swansea.
ihs12... the whole DF thing has nothing to do with my brother. Apparently I am not the only person that thinks they are decent. There must be a few coaches in this state that think they are pretty good too seeing how they are ranked 2nd in the state... and I don't get to vote for that. So will you stop making this DF thing about my brother? So if I think that SV is going to beat you, is that because I know someone on that team or have a relative playing for them too? I still don't understand the whole brother comments. Like I said, I do think he is good and I do think he can change the complexion of a game but he isn't God's gift to soccer by no means. So drop the connection there and just understand that I think that DF and SV are both better than Irmo when both teams have full squads.
you seriously dont know when to quit. you seem to be making a bigger deal than i did about it. did you read the last sentence in my post. i was just referring to something you stated earlier. relax a bit. and as i said i earlier i look forward to a great game tonight
Anyone who watched last night's game and thinks that the referee's are giving Irmo anything are really confused. But generally, the game was not officiated by the laws of the game for either team.
Agreed, SOCRDAD. The refs were awful. The two yellows cards at the end were not consistent with the way the game had been called up to that point, though.
