Is Finotti really that great of a coach? I would really like to hear from his players on this one no opinions from outsiders. I know him from Sumter. OK player & OK person. All I know about his coaching is that he worked with a great coach named Russell S. I hear he is also in that area.

I can tell you that the players who are serious about improving and becoming elite level soccer players appreciate the training they recieve from Nick.My son thinks the world of him and considers him a mentor and friend. If you want to just go through the motions he might not be your kind of coach..

Thank You. I thought this was so. I just hear different things and really wanted to know what the true feelings out there were. Coaches like Nikki are hard to come by so I am wondering why no more coaching of high school. Well if you see Nikki tell him the boys down in Sumter wish him luck with what ever he does.

I echo BDad11's comments about Nick. My son played for Nick and he had a huge impact on my son's growth as a soccer player and young man. I agree that if you are the type of player that just wants to go through the motions then Nick may not be the right fit. In my opinion that can be the difference between HS and Club soccer. I think "higher" level club players are more serious about their development then SOME of the HS players and that MAY create a problem...for both Nick and the player. Yes, HS players want to win and be successful but again IMO I think they want to have HS soccer be "more fun"/"less serious" then club.
