benP on what do you base your assessment of the sophomore goalie from chapin? Nobody has ever mentioned him in the :best goalie?" topic.

After attending the DF-Chapin game I am amazed at how well Chapin played. They had most of the play in the second half, with DF's only chance turning into a goal. As for the first half it was more even but DF got in my opinion a soft PK call. Chapin seemed to run out of gas in overtime and DF got a goal after a turnover in the back.

I was impressed with Chapin though, I think that they can, if they play like they did tonight, reach the Lowerstate/State finals and a region championship althoug BC is going to be tough like they always are.

As for DF they will need to pick it up because sooner or later their luck will run out. Maybe when Cates comes back they will play better????

Soccer Relic: Chapin's keep is a excellent PK keeper and an average overall keeper with a big foot. He won a couple of shootouts last year I think....

coladad... i think your analysis is for the most part correct, but i don't know if i'd say the first half was even. Dutch Fork possessed the ball most of the half and it was Chapin scoring on one of their few oppurtunities. I'm not arguing about the 2nd half because for the most part Chapin did take it to Dutch Fork, but i think the majority of the chances as well as possession in the first half belonged to Dutch Fork.
