What is up with their program? I have heard they are losing players left and right.

Does anybody have any insight?

I only know of two players over the last week that have quit the team..The only insight that I have is what my son shares with me.What he tells me is that no one cares for or likes the head coach.I have watched them play and they are capable of winning.It just seems like the chemistry is not there...they are not having fun

Who from Summerville dropped out?

I THINK IT IS WRONG TO SINGLE OUT THE COACH AND THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT THE FORUM TO DO SO. I KNOW THIS COACH AND HE IS A CLASS GUY AND SOLID COACH.
AS CRABB HAS STATED ON ANOTHER THREAD, THEY ARE PROBABLY THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE WITH THE RECORD THEY HAVE.
SHS HAS LOST CLOSE ONE GOAL GAMES TO A FEW RANKED CLASS TEAMS. I AM AWARE OF A COUPLE OF DISCIPLINE ISSUES THAT HAD TO BE HANDLED EARLIER AND SOMETIMES YOUNG MEN DON'T CARE FOR THAT PART OF COACHING.
SHAME ON ANY ADULTS OR PLAYERS THAT WOULD IN ANY WAY BE CRITICAL OF THEIR TEAM IN THIS WAY. I SAW NO COMPLAINTS LAST YEAR WHEN THEY WERE TAKING LOWER STATE CHAMP IRMO INTO 3 OVERTIMES IN COLUMBIA.

I heard one version of the situation at SHS, but realize there are always three sides to every story....that's why I was asking for insight.

We can discuss the Ft. Dorchester program later...

If you looked closer at my posts it stated that my child said that they did not care for the coach.Do all of your players love you?These are high school kids talking...I never said it was true or that it carried any weight.I think I also wrote that they were very capable of winning.SO OFF MY BACK!!!You should be busy with the meat of your schedule coming up
Back to the team now...another player quit today and varsity brought up two players from the strong jv squad so expect to see a couple more players fall out when these jv players come in and take playing time from them

NOTHING LOUD OR NEGATIVE ABOUT THE CAPS. I OFTEN DON'T HAVE MY READING GLASSES AND THE CAPS SIMPLY MAKE IT EASIER FOR ME TO READ.YOU WILL FIND MOST OF MY POSTS IN ALL CAPS.
MY GRIPE I GUESS WAS WITH C.H.T.AND PUBLIC AIRING OF DIRTY LAUNDRY. I AM SURE THIS TEAM WILL COME AROUND AND I JUST HATE TO SEE GOOD PEOPLE ATTACKED.
I STAND BY WHAT I HAVE SAID ABOVE AND IF YOU WANT TO THREATEN TO GENERATE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT OUR PROGRAM HERE AT FDHS GO FOR IT, AS I KNOW KYLE HAS VERY LITTLE TOLERANCE FOR THAT TYPE OF ACTIVITY.
