I also saw a total team effort from Irmo tonight. I didn't see any of the flaws in the defense that were mentioned in some of the other post. Irmo's offense had a lot of shots that were near misses and one no-goal (broke the plane, but didn't credited). Irmo's freshmen also pulled their weight.
Nutshell...Both teams gave a lot of extra effort to make for a very exciting game to watch.
Irmo, as well as all other members of Region 5-4A, are in the Lower State this year. That means Dutch Fork, Irmo, Lower Richland, Richland Northeast, Ridge View, and Spring Valley will be competing for four spots in the 4A Lower State playoffs.
