i wont go so far as to say we dominated the game but I do believe the better team won. ben lippen came out obviously wanting the game a lot, but there was no way they were gonna score 3 or 4 on us. they did put a lot of pressure on early and in the last 15 or 20 min. ben lippen seems to struggle a little once they get down and under pressure. but they are certainlty a very quality scisa team. thier keeper is a giant, i thought johns goal went over because it seemed like there was no way that keeper could be chipped.

ben lippen is a rough scrappy physical team too which made it kinda funny when their fans were calling for rinky dink fouls on us. and by the way their fans might whine more than I do when they dont get a call. they live up the sterotype of rich kids expecting to get their way. I mean when one of your players blatenly knocks ours down and gets a yellow, dont yell awful call and it was obviously one of those moms that really have no idea whats going on.

oh and benp, they were rough on byron, their future star from according to you.

but the game was closer than the score, i mean the last goal was scored in the last minute or two. the action of the game reflected a 2-1 score.

Yea b/c the kids that go to Dreher are poor.

i was using a sterotype commonly associated with private schools as humor because ben lippen did seem to expect almost every call to go their way, and actually dreher has a significant low income population as well as the relatively high income areas right around the school and in shandon.

first of all, we have like 4 players that make that team. our goalie is new and yes we did lose to marion. we had one of our main defenders gone. 2 injuries and we had to push one of our main strikers and our left midfielder back on D which left us with barrily no offense. Teams have bad games. And were a small school im sorry we dont play extremely amazing teams... doesnt mean that we automatically suck. I think for what we have we play a pretty good game.

yes wait till the playoffs then you can run your mouth all you want if you win. i know nothing about lakewood so im not going to say if they are good or bad but just wins alone do not qualify a team to be ranked, just as losses alone do not qualify a team to not be ranked and strength of schedule does have a big impact. thats not saying lakewood isnt one of the top 15 teams but that because of their schedule they have not proven they are.

What exactly do they look at when they rank teams ? just curious. and yes i do aggree with you dreher about our schedule but there is nothing i can do about that.
