any surprises or upsets with the new rankings?

Academic Magnent took over first place in 1A with an upset over Christ Church!!!

I rank JI over HH since they beat them head to head, but that was a while ago. I'm not sure the top three should be from the upstate. Since I haven't seen them, it's hard to say.. HH plays Fort Mill in the spring break tourney at Columbia, that should tell us a bit of how good all those teams in the low country really are.

BC dropped from 7 to 10 in 3A...I thought that was a pretty big jump

Hilton Head did lose to James Island in the first regular season game. However, Hilton head hasn't lost since....since moving Chris Stankowski back to his natural sweeper position and giving control of the offense to transfer James Gray at centermid. Considering that Hilton Head has only played three halves at full strength because of key injuries, they are ranked correctly. Nothing against a very good JL team.

Only 2 of the top 3 teams are upstate teams in 4a.

Fort Dorchester is now ranked 14th in 4A. They definitely deserve to be in the top 15. I can't wait to see how they move up before playoffs.
