Coach J...I stand corrected I was looking at the groupings to go into the second round.

7 v 8 will be great games, 5 v 6 not too good.

1 vs 2 not too good, 3 v 4 will have some interesting games

The lower half of the Lower State bracket should be killer. If all standings remain as they are now, Wando, Summerville, Hilton Head, and Dutch Fork (3rd in region 5) will be in same group. You could get Wando v Summervile in the first round, only to face Spring Valley in the second round. Hilton Head would start out with Stratford, only to face Dutch Fork in the second round. How's that for tough. If Irmo wins Region 5, their first game is easy, but then they run into West Ashley or Fort D. James Island will start out against Beaufort. Region 6 has no ranked teams, so you might get lucky and get one of these teams in the second round if you win a really tough first round game. Folks, it's goin' to be a dog fight.

Old ref, HH has a huge adv. this year as long as they get the #1 seed. If that happens they have homefield adv all the way untill state. So as long as they keep winning they are looking good for the play-offs. This makes for some long bus rides for teams that are from the Columbia area.

Old ref there is no way HH is going to sweep the region again I quote "no team is guaranteed to win a particular game" and I assure that the Fort is very serious about the top spot. So I will urge u to "not count your chickens before they hatch" Let me also clearly state that this is MY opinion as a biased Fort D fan.

Well of course you're gonna said that just because you're a fan of fort d.and yes this region changed all the way. I didnt get to see Fort D because of a problem with school, but when i went to Beaufort WOW.. they have such a better team than last year dont know how they did it they got the same players but something that the coach did is working really good. HH has one more game that is hard and is away Summerville. Then Fort D and Beaufort at Home. HH never lost at home this year and they only gave 3 goals at home.

Allfutbol I strongly believe You are a victim of what is very common among many of our fellow members which is u are stuck with the "old mentality" that certain teams must win certain games however things and times change and the sooner u embrace reality that nothing is a given then the more open u will be to all the possible outcomes in our region (which means it does not necessarily have to go Fort D'S way but I UNDERSTAND THAT). And the reason why I am such a strong believer in my Fort D team is called confidense it is confidense in A GREAT COACHING STAFF and Confidense in ourselves and our team members. Do not misunderstand what I have said for being cocky because it is not. And this is why I know that It will take a lot more than 11 Good players to beat "MY TEAM"

"confidense"? I wouldnt have much "confidense" in your spelling if I were you. Let alone your team. Yes they are pretty good but BFT outshot them 18-3, despite losing, and HH came through like they always do. So yes you are sitting pretty right now and confidence is very important but dont be over confident Every team in the state wants to win just like the Fort does but until HH is dethroned, I dont think confidence is the answer.

Again I quote "Do not misunderstand what I have said for being cocky because it is not". I was not aware this forum was a spelling contest but i will be sure to check from here on out. Mr Genius pgh86 (I hope "I MAN" spelling is proper would hate to get a detention) anyway Did Beaufort win the game where they supposedly out shot us 18-3? so again I will quote "a ugly win is better than a pretty loss" CAN U SPELL THAT.

The time was that Summerville ruled our region because of consistent, better coaching (high school and club). What you're seeing is that several teams have caught up. Coach Kerr of HH is an amazing coach and is also having a big impact in the club programs. The coach at Fort D is terrific and there are some good clubs nearby. I don't know what's changed at Beaufort, but they are the most improved team in the region. If I'm from another region, I don't want to face any of these teams in an early round of the playoffs, because they are all dangerous and capable of beating any team in the state on any one night.
