When a ref misses a call chances are he didn't see it. When a ref consistently calls a game allowing or not allowing play at level that makes parents or coaches unhappy that's life. When a coach yells at a ref (even if the ref is wrong) he is knowingly violating the spirit and the rules of the game. Who is the worst offender? When parents constantly yell at the ref, not completely understanding either the rules of the game or what the ref saw and that teaches his son or daughter to lie on the field when not really injured and letting the opponent score, Or worse causes his child to be disrespectful to the ref and receive a card. Who is more at fault? I think we all need to consider that fact that in general we, by acting that way are much worse then the ref who didn't see it. Those actions are worse still when it's an 8 and under game with a 14 year old ref.
