I checked the definition of a "darkhorse" team in the dictionary and found the following: "In 4A Girls' High School soccer in SC a team is considered to be a darkhorse if it is unranked in the SCSOCCER.COM week 10 poll or seeded 4th in region and wins a second round playoff game, thus passing to the final 8." By this definition, three darkhorses remain: Lexington, Socastee and Irmo. Any predictions on successful darkhorse endeavors tomorrow night? Of these three there seems to have been more press devoted to Lexington than the others...
