She is very very good. Best player I've seen this year, but I haven't seen the Charleston teams, but look forward to watching West Ashley this Monday. Go Lady Cavs!

Mouton clearly was not the best player on the field when NRE played FM. Considering the frustration she and teammates showed, it must have been an off night. She DID score, but I'd bet lunch she wouldn't that way again against FM.

Exalting ourselves by belittling others only demeans us.

The Facts are FM is a very good team with good players across the board who have baught into the coaches philosphy of soccer and team play.

RNE is an average beter than average team with One Excellent player and three or four good players.

Respect for FM of course, they have proven to be a great TEAM, respect for Moutons play over all I think is warrented also because she can hurt you. I would say that probably every team that has played RNE has focused on stopping her first. Which good team play can accomplish if no one else on the opposing team provides a threat. I have only seen her stopped completely nullified in two games being covered by one person.

good luck to all in the playoffs, it becomes a different beast now.

DDF,

You are making a great case for the Fort Mill coach for Coach of the Year. Doing what he has done with a bunch of good players, none of which are on CESA, CUSC or CSC (Columbia) rosters, is quite an accomplishment.

Keeping these girls #1 in the state, without the benefit of any "Excellent" players, certainly makes him the front-runner.

Without engaging in the confusion of the definitions of the terms "fact" and "opinion"...

Without engaging in the semantics of the terms "excellent" and "good"...

I do agree that the Fort Mill coach should be a strong contender for 4A coach of the year. I don't think it's a poor reflection on the Fort Mill players, simply a recognition of the tremendous accomplishment in coaching this incredibly successful team to date.

If he can fight the karmic headwinds brought on by some Fort Mill fans on this message board, he might deserve coach of the decade! [Smile]

NO KNOCK AT ALL ON FM PLAYERS!!

I think there are some very good players on that team. But the thing that struck me most was how well they play as a TEAM..........

The FM Coach does deserve some recognition for that, and likely is a strong candidate for COTY..........

Without engaging in semantics <smile>..................
