Do you still think that a neutral site is the best idea????? I'm going to call my buddy Jerome Singleton down at the SCHSL and tell him that EVEN the Fort Mill fans think it's best. I appreciate you putting it in writing for all of us, and of course the SCHSL!

It is settled the Upper State Finals will be held at the Lexington County Recreation fields at Gibson Road. Jerome was so impressed with the job they did hosting the State Cup. It is about halfway between South Aiken and Fort Mill. Sounds fair to me.

But you better bring in a significant amount of temporary stands in order to make the "AWAY" crowd comfortable.

Come on....I only had 'Bama winning one more game. 2-2 in the early games, 4-0 so far for the ones just finishing up.

Great job resurrecting this thread. I was half correct on my prediction that hosting the state semi-final matters.
R1C, on the other hand, was way off on his prediction of who was going to finish second in the lowerstate. :>)
