WHHS lost 5-0.
Game note of interest: The Generals held Greenville 0-0 at the break, however Greenville was able to break our pressure. WHHS is a young team starting 4 in the 9th and 2 in the 10th. The kids are learning a new system of play and at a game like this one, Greenville was able to use their maturity and skill to overcome the problems we were giving them. WHHS learned some valuable lessons we hope to take into future matches.

WH played well. strange game as WH seems to employ some type of offsides trap gameplan that seemed to work at times and at others compromised their defense. but, GHS was much stronger in the midfield and over time that , to me , usually dictates the outcome. WH should be proud of their improvement and effort.

Yes Greenville Broke the offside trap with the help of some officiating.But thats how it goes with only two refs. Greenville was quite upset getting called offsides so many times in the first half. Give credit to the raiders defense,they neutralized Ables and Robertson very well, they played well but no results. WHHS despite this loss should have a fun year.
