R1C: Please get a life. Obviously you aren't doing your job. This website is not for degrading people. Soccer may be a competitive sport, but you can't beat your competition. If you are a coach or teacher, then do your freaking job. This is a message board; it is not a formal website, so knock it off with the grammatical corrections. From the coaching stand point, coach YOUR players, not other people or other people's players. Do not comment on the responsibilities of other coaches when you cannot carry out and fulfill yours. You do not know the whole story or even the half of it when it comes to the whole All-Region team ordeal. So get off it!

This website is not for degrading people. By defending other coaches, how am i degrading? The South Aiken coach missed the meeting and others blame the region coaches. I defend them. Where is the problem? I don't think the coach missed on purpose, why else would she drive an hour for a meeting? There was a misunderstanding, but my point is that others should not be blamed.

I will not defend my job or the skill of my players to someone of your likes. You are in high school and I can quite easily see unable to have rational and calm thought. Take your act to the boys board. Your super cool put-downs fit better over there.

p.s. In looking back at some of your previous post, you are quite capable of displaying quality post although stained slightly with your emotional attachment to the issue. Why has this gotten you so fiesty that you would resort to childish acts? I look forward to a reply to my "pm".

When it comes down to it the ones who need to be answering all these questions are the only ones not on the boards!!!....THE COACHES!!!

Just for the record, the meeting was held on Saturday, April 23, with 5 region games remaining on the schedule. At the time of the meeting Lexington and S. Aiken were tied for 1st place, White Knoll 3rd, N. Augusta 4th, Aiken 5th, and OW 6th. No one knew for sure how things would turn out, but a 3-way tie for 3rd place was a strong possibility, and that is what eventually happened.

The question has to be, not just why did WK get 4 players on the team, but why did WK, NA, and Aiken get more than SA? One less for each of the third place teams would have allowed 5 for S. Aiken which is in keeping with the fact that they tied for first place with Lexington.

It is my understanding that each region establishes it's own procedures for tie breakers and for selection of All-Region teams. If these procedures are published to the public, I have not been able to locate them.

It is not at all clear how the ties were broken and how the All-tournament team was chosen for Region 4-AAAA girls this soccer season. I think the region coordinators should be required to post the procedures they use for these purposes.

just for the record... the s. aiken coach did not just drive an hour for the meeting. she was already there on prior business. i'm not saying that she doesn't deserve the blame, because apparently it should in fact all lay on her. i just find it funny how everything was went about. it is in fact rumored that the lexington and white knoll coaches went in on it together, planning to vote for only each others players. i have no proof in that, but i find no reason not to believe it either. also being the only female in the group, there is even more bias there. this subject is getting old. it is over and done with and nothing can be changed. and where would you get the idea that i am in high school r1c?

Bruiser, you know, it doesn't matter what I think. All that matters is that next year everyone gets represented as they should.

Equal representation....now that would be nice.... a nice joke!
