I would like to offer that "records and rankings do not count when it comes down to the championship game," but I'm sure someone will end up proving it wrong...so, I'll go ahead and ask the question...has anyone done a comparison of State Championship opponents' records and rankings vs. who ends up winning the final match, i.e., does the record/ranking of the teams going into the state championship match reflect the outcome?
