What's wrong with you people? Is R1C the only compassionate person in SC? (That really hurt to type that.) We need our fix and we need it now!

What happened with the FM and the Mauldin game? Did they get to play?

BC and Dreher will play tomorrow (Weds) @ 6:30 PM at BC...lightning and thunder postponed the game:(

Eastside 1 Riverside 0

Eastside scored the lone goal in the 4th minute of the first 10 minute OT period and held on for long 16 minutes to gain the victory.

Congratulations to both teams on a hard fought game.

FM 1 Mauldin 0 Game was delayed twice by lightning. FM score came in the first half by freshman Ashleigh Sheets off an assist by Danielle Schmitt. In the second half each team had some opportunities. Mauldin's best chance for a score came off a free kick that was not cleanly handled by the goalie but defender Rachel Datz made a beautiful clear to end the threat.

Fort Mill controlled the ball and had more opportunities the first half. Their goal probably could have been stopped by the keeper, who actually tipped it in because it was above her head. But 2nd half mauldin came out hard. They definitely controlled the ball and had a lot more shots then fort mill. Mauldin played hard, but couldn't finish.

Actually, FM outshot Mauldin by a significant margin. Mauldin also had 5 corners to 2 for FM. They also had multiple penalties; some very "interesting" calls (I usually figure that all evens out, but...!!!!)
