Chapin will be a young team once again. We will have a strong junior and sophmore group and some very good freshman joining the ranks. We will only have a couple of very strong seniors that play defense which will help out our freshman goal keeper.

This will either be a very good team or a team that will struggle. I am hoping that some leadership within the team will step up and help the team to a deep run into the playoffs.

I haven't kept up with girls soccer as much as I should...have there always been 32 teams in the Viking Cup?? that is incredible.

I think there were only 24 teams the past few years, this is a new format. Looks like all the Big Dogs are committed. Hard to figure out who the best team in the state NOT COMING to this tournament might be???

Always tough w/ a Freshamn GK.....Esp in the region they are in!!!!

I have updated The33Prophet's post about the 2006 Taco Bell Viking Cup above with the dates, times, and fields.

Looks like the defending champs will get the honor of kicking things off on the wrong side of the street.
