I asked a local coach about this and his response was similiar to Le Debile's with one addition. He said that they have had nonregion varsity doubleheaders and the girls' always voted to take two busses so they could get home earlier. They enjoyed playing the early game on the road and saw it as a chance to get home at a decent hour from at least one road game. The only dissenters apeared to be those girls who had boyfriends playing in the nightcap. He did say he had never had siblings playing on each team.
